I never had Mrs Copeland as a full time teacher but at one time during my 6th grade year all the teachers taught our class. She always made us think about our work and put forth all our effort to do the best we could. I feel blessed to have had that time in her class. She was a great lady. As she grew older she helped other kids that were having trouble learning and I'm sure they will always be grateful to her. She will be truly missed.

She was also my 1st grade teacher at EWSchool. I can see the things we had to copy from the blackboard, & that was 51 yrs ago. Thought she was so very pretty.

Thank you for your comment SHJ. Teaching was her gift, and she believed that if you could read well and understand what you read that you could do anything.

Mrs. C was my first grade teacher. She was so strict and tough. But I am glad she was my teacher. The foundation she laid made everything else in school come easily to me.
