I agree with nhs player a win is a win. And let’s keep things in perspective. Northview only has 3 paid coaches. I really don’t know how many the big schools in Pensacola have, but I bet there are more to go around. We are very fortunate that we have talented volunteers who donate their time to make Northview a better team.
I don’t always agree with the Coaches, but am very proud of the boys on both teams. They play their hearts out every game!
Enough complaining. Come out and support the boys win or lose. That is what a real CHIEF fan does!

1.) jv has there chance to get in and practice but they choose not to. you cant make anybody somebody do something if they dont want to, and the ones that do get in are the ones that do exceptionally well. 2.) to the supoosely “fans” i cant tell weather your a south walton fan or northview. who are you to criticize teenage boys, thats real mature. By all means come try to work as hard as are coaches do, dedicaate yourself like they do. oh and south waltons record 2 years ago was 7-3.

; not other p have layers to practice punting/kicking field goals? Are we not planning or training for our future football seasons???? Oh wait…its my understanding that the JV doesn’t even practice,,,, sure they stay for “practice” but I’m told by many parents that JV practices consist of them sitting on their hamlets and watching varsity practice! Does anyone else see anything wrong with that??? How does one learn something new if not taught?? Just saying……

A real game is not the time to practice kicking. Extra points and field goals can win or lose a game.

Fan, I agree with you. That was one of the worst games I’ve seen us play. Last week we put up 50 against Chipley and this week we struggled with a team that hasn’t had a winning season in years! Our offense looked terrible

A win is good, but this was the sloppiest game I have seen coached and played. What are we thinking by trying 30-40 yard field goals when we haven’t mastered the extra point? You bring a kid in who just got his cast off to be able to throw for 30 yards and they intercept it. If we plan to beat Gulf Breeze coaches you better have a different plan.
