Let us honor all who have fallen from this and those who continue to fall and suffer.

Here we are eleven years later fighting alcada. we defeated the axis of WWII in four years. After 11 years of fighting, Afganistan should by now be a sterile wastland. I guess there would be no long term contracts for that.

I would suggest a simple war of attrition, simply kill them all and be finished. or quit and come home.

I would like to remember a very special and unique person on this anniversary of 9/11. Cyril Richard “Rick” Rescorla was born in Great Britain and served with the British Army. Later he moved to the US and enlisted in the United States Army. In November of 1965 he was part of the 2nd Battalion, 7 Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Division serving in Vietnam. During the ferocious battle of Ia Drang, Rick Rescorla was a platoon leader. For his leadership and bravery during the battle he was decorated with the Silver Star. Lt. General Hal Moore described him as, “…the best platoon leader that I ever saw.”

On the morning of 9/11/01 Rick was Rescorla was working as a security officer, for the firm of Morgan Stanley, in World Trade Tower 1. He worked to successfully evacuate the majority of Morgan Stanley’s 2687 employees and went back into the building. He wanted to make sure everyone was out and was last seen heading up to the 10th floor when the building collapsed.

Much like Halley’s Comet, people like Rick Rescorla only come to us once in a lifetime.
