Could be but then I have this flaw in which I care more for the innocent than for the attackers

True and sad, but on the upside of the matter, it’s only ONE life wasted rather than three or more.

I was living out of town when this happened to my mother and brother here in Pensacola. I always thought of Brad as such a nice guy and we got along well. Apparently he struggled with long-term depression and addiction which ultimately led to this violent and unexpected outburst. She was calling a family member to talk to him and get him some help because she knew something was very wrong after the infamous “boom” comment, but she ignored the signs that she could actually be in real danger. The moral here is not to wait if you think somebody needs help. Though it may just seem like a cry for help or attention at first, that help and attention can is needed in order to stop these things from happening.

There is more than a news story, this is a life wasted, somebodys son, father, brother. Very sad for all involved and glad the mother and her son were not hurt.
