Rick Scott owned a bunch of hospital type clinics that he put in his wife's name so there would be no conflict of interest, (wink wink), with him when he became governor. He started his clinics with money he scammed from Medicare, Just FYI.

I find it to be a huge ethical conflict of interest for him to be making any decisions about anything having to do with health care billing.

The Gov spent 70 Million dollars of his own money (wink, wink) to get elected. He's made some of that back through the failed mandatory drug screen policy. You can bet he will find other places to make up for the cost of running lying campaign advertisement to dupe people into voting against his opponent, thus electing him.

@Jane, If Medicaid patients had to make a copay, they likely would not be able to and that cost would be passed on to other patients through the hospital, causing hospitals to have to over charge.
