well if the victim was such a friend he should of never messed with daltons ex.if u ask me the victim got what he deserved.thats whats wrong with the world today everyone wants to call the cops over any little thing now dalton is gotta live with a felony and that ant easy.trust me.but good luck dalton!!!!

Good men don’t settle their differences like this. Apparently Dalton has some of you “Friends” fooled by the way he shows up after his distruction with “heartfelt apologies”.
I truly feel sorry for any woman that ends up with this guy.

I agree with those that say they would have shot him on his way in. Most of us in the north end have the heat on our nightstand during the night and in the truck during the day. Acting like this is a good way to get Trayvonized.

Okay everyone we have to disregard the police report… this person talked to the actual guy who committed the crime; dang so much for our hypocritical smear of this guys apparent spotless reputation. Give me a break!! And I can honesly say felony burglary and assault are not something I personally am guilty of and if I were I would take my punishment like a man and not let “friends” try to defend my STUPID actions.

Unfortnantly he probably wont spend any timein jail dearie….. our justice system wants one thing… money…. he may get some probation… but if he is this bad with his temper perhaps he should seek some help for it before it gets the best of him…..

Whats wrong with the world today what happened to the days wen cops didnt have to be called for every little thing if. Im sure in daltons head this was the right thing to do but oviously its not but you know he will spend atleast a year in jail and ruin his life over a fight what happened to the days wen instead of arresting someone like a coward you gave back what they did to you and a little more and everybodys happy and the problems solved… Instead People Like Sheriff M>>>an will release the drug dealers and rapest and lock up people like this and others who do peti crimes the boy should be punished but his life should not be ruined over a mistake

To all the friends of this guy who are getting so defensive about the comments made here, what is being said that’s not factual? So far, no one here has called him a bad person or said anything negative about him except conclusions that can be reached based on his actions. It’s pretty fair to say this guy has anger issues, it’s fair to say he acted immature and needs to grow up. It’s ok to be his friend and come to his defense as a person, but don’t defend what he did, and don’t act like it wasn’t a big deal. And to the owner of the house–I’m glad you’re all still friends, but you need to recognize what happened and take steps to defend your family. I have misunderstandings with my friends, but it doesn’t lead them to break into my home and attack me in the night. Temper or no temper, if one of my friends had little enough respect for our friendship and my privacy and my kid’s safety to do something like that, I would think REAL hard about letting them stay in my life. What if something had happened that he couldn’t go back later and say “sorry” for?

Dalton is a very good friend of mine, he is a good man that has a bad temper. It saddened me to hear about this because I know he is a better person than this. If you really know Dalton you would know how he is….is breaking into someones house tkaking it too far? Yes. The baby in the next room should have never been mentioned because he was obviously not trying to harm the baby! And as his friend I am greatful he is alive….but as a friend of the victim as well, i know there is more to the story than just an ex girlfriend. They are friends and I am sure things will get worked out.
To Dalton….dont let the people commenting on this bring you down. You know yourself and you’re better than what they say you are!
