I dont think that is right. I had to slow way down friday my self because i couldn’t see, good thing no one was tail gating me.

So many questions. It’s perfectly okay for anyone to slow down suddenly or jam on the brakes. Tailgaters are at fault, usually. There are deer and horses and lost retreads and all kinds of reasons to slow down quick, including a medical emergency. Obviously road rage is not a good reason. Also, was the six year-old wearing a seat belt?

Thats a lot of assumptions your making. We can assume all day about what happened but we were not there. That being said the FHP obviously saw fit to charge her, telling me that she was in some way wrong.

Maybe he did tail her, maybe she was in the wrong lane going too slow, maybe, maybe, maybe.

@Anonymous, If he didn’t lose control then that means he hit the tree on purpose.

I’ve had people come up behind me at night, tailgating with their High Beams on over drive, to the point of being blinding & affecting my ability to see. It could have been panic as well as road rage.

What I usually do is turn my windshield washer fluid on to the point that water rolls off my roof onto their windshield. I also may tap the breaks.

@Henry Coe- he didn’t loose control, he swerved “to avoid collision”.
“she suddenly slowed down in front of another vehicle and impeded traffic”- sounds like the mini van had some road rage and decided to slam on her brakes, that or maybe cut the truck off.
Very sad, hope everyone makes a full recovery.

So Morill lost control of his vehicle and it’s Yonker’s fault because she slowed down? That might make for an interesting trial. Especially with Florida being a “No Fault” state.
