We actually stopped watching the Ch 3 news several years ago. Had nothing to offer. Some times a total change is for the better. Ch 10 mobile offers more local news than our own station. The early morning news is a laugh. Some of the faces are almost as old as the station itself. Looking for ” hopefully ” changes for the investment. I would prefer to support our local station, however as long as it continues as is I think not. ” If you don’t make change you will not see change “.

Have to agree with Patriot,

… you might see Milton and Pace on the so called weather map but you won’t see Century and Molino on there.

Most of the WEAR reporters don’t even know WHERE Century and Molino are! They are under the impression that “the north end” of the county is 9 Mile Road.

Gone are the days of weather forecasts you can use. WEAR’s weather is barely a forecast, it is mostly about making their advertisers happy, destin, Orange beach apparently trying to break into Milton and Pace, you might see Milton and Pace on the so called weather map but you won’t see Century and Molino on there.

More broadcast media consolidation. Just great. Gone are the days of competition for stories, scoops, and solid journalism that serves the public interest- now we’ve got managed news provided by an increasingly-profit-driven conglomeration of mega-corporate shills striving to control more & more markets and spend more & more airtime trying to sell us more junk.
