This was not due to a cell phone, I can tell you that right now. Stop speculating and wait for the facts. These people were on vacation, good, down to earh, church people. No drugs or alcohol, there were kids involved in this wreck. The driver was in excellent health and there was totally nothing wrong with her. ITs called an accident…a horrible accident.

I hope when im 65 or older they make me get evaluated yearly so I dont hurt someones kid. When u get that age alot of things happen slower reflex harder to see object before its to late

sorry for the lose to the family members, and before folks start pointing fingers at the age of a person could be the cause of the tragic, maybe they should wait for all the information. sure we change with age but those stating folks should not drive after a certain age should remember they to will be that age one day if the good lord allows it,

To all those who think a persons licenses should be taken away at “a certain age” My 80 year old mother was just refused an automatic renewal of her license because she used a walker to enter the license office. Even though she has a perfect driving record, no accidents, and never had a ticket of any kind. She even offered to bring a letter from her doctor. She was embarassed and stressed but took the driving test and passed without one mark against her. Think twice before you start wishing away our rights and privaleges as citizens.

I think people over 75 should be evaluated yearly. Some people are able to drive well into their 80’s, and others are not. Everyone is different.

to driver think before you print you may become a senoir citizen one day what are you going to do if they took your license at age 65 you will not be young forever

I also have seen so many cars going into other lanes then changing I am glad to see some more people notice this somthing has got to be done it is so scary..I hope cell phones are being checked in these wrecks. they need to be. I also wonder how often these kind of wreaks happen a week this is just awful.

I have noticed the same thing, but I think that most of it is due to cell phones/texting. There have been several times lately that I have noticed people coming into my lane, and then correct at the last moment. It’s pretty scary.

I don’t think in THIS case it was due to cell phones, but most of the time I think it is.

I think they should take driver licenses away from a lot of teenagers and people who are in their 20’s and 30’s. A LOT of those age groups have no idea what the traffic laws are nor how to drive — period!
