Of this year. She also has Alzhiemers. I saw the fear in my families face as we had to hear the word CANCER... But our mother was never afraid, instead she always told us " God is in control". I think I could try to understand this better if she would just say "I'm sorry.. I was wrong." I mean you pled no contest, guilty, whatever. The sentence you received is going to be over in 364 days. The only way a CANCER patient is over CANCER is either remission or DEATH!! Your grandchild will be here soon and no, you may not be there when he is born. But a lot of grandparents will never see their grandchildren born, grow up and all the memories made. So, that said, the law was broken, sentence passed; suck it up and serve your time. I have lost loved ones to this dreadful disease and I would not have wanted them to be around this woman ever. It is a lesson they should not have to teach her. A cancer patient has enough to deal with and this scammer doesn't deserve the sweat off their brow. She should have to continue hard labor for her crimes and I feel that she deserves more time than she got. Has she learned her lesson? I seriously doubt it but who cares. She will probably lead a lonely life when she is released any way. No one will ever trust her again. Good for the judge.
