What is Escambia County looking to get out of Airbus on this? More service jobs at hotels and dollar stores? Until Both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties give up the ideas that revenue can only be obtained from business south of I-10, all the counties will be good for is a place to buy that plastic shovel and flip/flops at…oh yes…don’t for get the bait and tackel shops.

No Governor, it will not happen in Escambia or Santa Rosa county. Neither knows how to attract business. They will offer overpriced industrial parks with not enough infrastructure, and NO incentives. We do not stand a chance until the state of Florida decides it wants to offer significant incentives for REAL middle class jobs. Alabama continues to put us to shame. So sad.

I doubt anyone will move here to work in Alabama. How does this help the Panhandle unless you are supplying something the new plant can use? And we all know Escambia County will not want any industries here. Hmmm….
