I am the queen of my double wide!! Bought it brand new in 1994 & it has a lot of burn marks in the carpet from my stupid self falling asleep w/a cig. I dont do that anymore because yes I am lucky to have not burned down the house . Mobile Homes do burn very fast ! This says it was burned to the ground BEFORE being reported..something is a lil fishy here

This is why I will never be the queen of a doublewide. Those things burn like they are made of gasoline !

Trailers can burn really quick. If there was a window open and the fire burned through the floor, then the trailer with that chimney effect, turns in to like a coffee can being used to start charcoal as the fire gets pulled toward the window with fresh air coming in from the floor.
