Well, you all love republicans, and they support insurance companies screwing the heck out of you. The republicans running the state said okay fine you can insure autos, bikes, boats and never have to insure another house. So that is what they did. You are already paying have been paying for years a surtax on your homeowners to help Citizens.

What does “potential losses eclipsing $500 billion” mean?

Does it mean a hurricane that starts at one end of the state and goes to the opposite end of the state completely destroying everything in its path?

I disagree about having to pay a single dollar…..there should be NO charge passed on to those who build inland. Those who choose to build in coastal areas know full well the risks and should bear the complete costs!!!!!

Maybe some of us that own our on homes should cancel insurance and take up “self insured”.
