I really doubt our founding fathers intended for our government to fix people houses, feed people kids breakfast at school becouse the parents are too lazy, create jobs, provide housing, food stamps for able bodied people, pay for college for anyone that thinks they might want to attend......the list goes on and on!!! Federal programs such as Liheap and Community Action programs do, or did, prior to that wonderful stimulus package of 2009, provide substantial benefits to low income redidential housing ajd to small business owners alike. Now they are just a way to put more money into the pockets of the federal employees that distribute the funds and the owners of larger, undertaxed contractors. Regardless of the program used, I am still happy for the person receiving help. Were these federal grants? We should put it with the billions that we send to countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan where the people there will use it to buy weapons to kill as many Americans as possible. After all sending money overseas must be good policy to both Democrats and Republicans, because neither have tried to do anything about it so far.
