David I have a 4 disk set of the show. In the episode Barney’s New Car, I think is the title, Barney buys a used car from an elderly lady (Ellen Corbin) and as it turn out she is the leader of a car theft ring. When they uncover the garage the ring is operating out of, Andy says “Barney put your bullet in your gun”. The only time I ever heard Andy instruct Barney to do such.

If only we could make the world over like Mayberry. What a great world it would be.

I don’t remember him ever instructing Barney to put it in, rather reminding him to keep it out.

We lost the greatest actor and singer. He entertained us everyday on the Andy Griffith show. I just wish we had more shows like that today. Now he is in Heaven with the rest of the Andy Griffith Show cast.
Rest in Peace Mr. Andy Griffith, you will be truly missed by everyone. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

He was my most favorite actor in T.V. He was great on screen and the most awesome singer. He will be greatly missed. He is in Heaven with the rest of the Andy Griffith Show. My thoughts and prayers go oiut to the family.

One of my fondest memories was watching the beginning of the “Andy Griffith” Show and trying to out whistle my granddad. And, I’d sit on the floor beside him eating old time molasses cookies and watching the show. It’s like I lost a little piece of my childhood with his death. My granddad use to love watching Matlock too. A truly great man has been loss.
