Beulah took years to get anything out here for our children from the county thanks for the park it is nice. But for people to get upset for one clean sweep. We don’t ask for much out here but maybe next time we would not have to here closed minded people judge us when they don’t know how we live. At least chan 3 didn’t wast you tv time with this clean sweep.

Henry, law enforcement has a computer mapping tool that helps with knowing where crime is likely to happen, no minority report conspiracy as you would spin it. Use your resources wisely not for publicity. Save the money used for these dog and pony shows and put it back into programs. Instead of a Marine recruit picking up trash why not use them to mentor the younger adults? Clean sweeps are useless in fighting crime ask the residents of Mayfair. If your going to do something then go back to where the problem is happening and start there. I said dedicate resources whatever they may be, you assumed it was arrests.

Some of you folks are silly. How exactly is LE suppose to know where the next violent crime is going to take place? Did y’all want to set up a “Minority Report” situation where we have psychics deciding where the next violent crime will be? That’s just nuts.

If you want to do something about violent crimes then you need social programs that educate people, help them with mental problems and properly staffing places like Lakeview. That kind of stuff would definitely help, but it can’t be paid for without having tax revenue to pay for it.
Also, while so many that hate supporting America by paying their taxes are extremely short sighted, infringing on the Liberty of people who are not criminals, in order to catch a few who are, is not Constitutionally American.

We can educate and help prevent crimes or we can just narcissistically hate people and put them in jails which cost much more over the long term. Both are pad for with taxes. Jails and having more LE cost much much more. What kind of future do you want. You get what you pay for.

Wall Street has been investing in Private Jails with Private staff and Private doctors that get paid for with your tax dollars. They want there to be more crime and more LE.
Conservative media tells you that taxes going to help the needy is socialism but they don’t tell you about the additional cost of not paying for what they call socialism.

@ Richard: Ted Bundy was arrested in Pensacola, far from his numerous murders, and, Timothy McVeigh, was not arrested standing outside the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. Nazi war criminals were found in South America. Why should law enforcement be forced to be focused on one spot because of a citizens theory that is where they should be?

17 Enfield you are entitled to your opinion and me to mine. Why wasn’t this effort made in an area where the violent crime is happening on a daily basis? Beulah isn’t one of those place.

@ Richard: I do not think the Sheriff’’s “resources” were being wasted here. How many sworn Deputies, as opposed to the Sheriff’’s Posse, community volunteers, and, a group of great “volunteers” from Pensacola Naval Station were used. It’s a shame when the locals can not take care of their own. But, using your rational, should we have a military air show, when we have American military forces, dying for your right to express your opinion, etal. I think the Sheriff is doing “just fine.”
