My mom told me about the flooding and I saw a quick picture on the news here in Huntsville, AL. By the picture posted above, it looks worse than I imagined. I definitely won’t be coming home for a visit anytime soon. Good luck dealing with this natural disaster and I hope everyone stays safe.

Can’t volunteer if I’m flooded In doors. But the boats still afloat in the front yard. Must be a sign from God to go play in the run off, with a lil common since. Lol

Thank god for antibiotics!! After being stuck in the house since Friday, those flooded road were a blast. It was like neighbor hood swim ti e without a pool. But I do understand that if if u ain’t ever rolled in the mud it tends to make u sick. I guess some folks just didn’t gEt dirty enough as kids to fight the bacterias!!!

Never play in flood run off, even a small one in the middle of the streets.
There are so many bacterias your body may or may not be able to fight it makes me sick to think about . Then there are so many possibilities of injury
large and small. Have you even HAD your Tetanus shot this year?
If you must go out into the mess go the shelters and volunteer.

@Deborah Tyson, I worked this morning/afternoon downtown, and the main stripe of Palafox is not bad (Sanger area), but main street is closed, so I’m I wouldn’t be surprised if the end of palafox has some problems.
