His legacy will live on, not only though his family, but through the lives he has influenced both professionally and personally. I knew Jimmie through ECEMS. He and I both worked the night shift and would see each other often. He was a medic and I was an EMT that worked at both West Fl Hospital ER and Baptist Hospital ER downtown. He was always such a pleasure to talk to and swap stories with. I do feel as though he was my brother in the EMS family. All of my brothers and sisters in the EMS family will agree that he was a man of outstanding character and will be missed greatly. To his real family: I'm sorry for your loss and I'll pray for you that God will grant you peace in this very difficult time. I wish you all the best. To Jimmie: No more lights and sirens and hurrying to get there. Your there now. No more pain or suffering. You finally get a chance to relax. I'll see you when I get there.
