Nothing will be done to the deputy. They are above the law. The department will say that they are going to do an internal investigation and who do you think will win in that situation? Yes the deputy will win not the innocent citizens who were injured by his reckless actions.

In regards to red dogs comment. How do you know it was the same deputy? Did you get a car number? And the area where you said this happen was E and Cervantes. That the city of Pensacola jurisdiction. 90 percent of the time you will see Pensacola police in that area. Deputies rarely drive thru there. So I guarantee red dog just want to help muddy the water with his comment. Btw red dog; do u remember what time u saw it and did u call the sheriff to report it?

Charges would be against those breaking the law, say a deputy running a red light for example or driving recklessly or otherwise endangering the lives of citizens and non citizens alike. Things like that.

Its not unusual for deputies to be speeding without their lights, in the past I have been driven off the road into the median on two occasions by such behavior.

Unfortunately there are men hired that think because they represent the law they are above it……….

Get the number of the car and report it to the sherriff.

I rode right by this guy on cervantes at e st. He just hit his horn and keep on going through the red light there. No lights or anything. And he was riding in the median. No cause for that. He atleast should have had his lights on.
