Baldwin County didn’t have any deputy’s directing traffic to the Perdido exit, I passed a long line of traffic heading straight to Bay Minette. I knew something must have happened, because the only time i have seen that much traffic on hwy 31 is during a hurricane evacuation.

As of now, 10:20 pm, officers are still on scene and redirecting traffic. My husband is one of the officers on duty tonight. I would like to say thank you to him and all of our local law enforcement, fire and rescue. Only too often, we take them for granted.

I-65 has been closed down near the wreck site. They are trying to get people to bypass the Interstate. There is also a seperate 3 car pile up a few miles from the Truck wreck. There is no injuries from the 3 car pileup. Alabama DOT is also on scene spreading sand and inspecting the roads. If at all possible please don’t take I-65 at this time. There is a 2 hour backup.
