He was a fine man and helped so many people. I give him credit for helping to save the life of my grandaughter. After hurricane Ivan, he was bringing water around to people. His acts of kindress are too many to name. He will be missed by many but especiall his family. Thinking of you.

Robert, They broke the mold when God made you. I enjoyed 10th, 11th, and 12th grade at EWHS with you. I am very glad I got to see you at the class reunion, still the same guy I attended school with. God bless your family. RIP………..

I AM SADDENED TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. I WAS JUST AT NWFL BLOOD CENTER ON SUNDAY DONATING MY PLATLETS FOR HIS CAUSE. I WISH THE FAMILY THE BEST. FROM WHAT IVE READ, MR. Robert and I went to High School together from the 10th to the 12th grade. I went off into the Navy and Robert stayed in Bratt and started his life of servcie to his community. I had the chance to catch up with Robert at our last class reunion a few years ago. Robert I know you were and assit to your community and I know you will be missed by all who knew and worked with you. You touched my life for which I am thankfull for.

Diann, Sam and Kelly, may GOD allow the Memories of your Loved One and my friend, stay in your hearts and that those Memories will bless you the rest of your lives.

I spent over 14yrs running calls with this Angel among us. He looked out for each of us like we where his own family and in a way we were! He nicknamed me low voltage, because any new trucks I would do the 12volt system on them. Plus he was always pulling my chain for fun! I had the most due respect for him, that he rightfully earned!
He will be deeply missed in our community and family.

Missing you so very much, Mr. Robert! I will always remember you scaring the wits out of me every chance you got! I will remember a stern, sometimes intimidating look, with a heart of pure gold. Take some playtime in Heaven now, with your other grandbabies…I can almost hear the laughter!

To all our family up in North FL, we send our love and prayers. ‘Uncle’ Robert will be greatly missed by all. Take comfort in knowing that he is at peace now and in a better place. Kind of jealous that he gets to see Granny ‘Big Mamma’ Stewart and so many other wonderful family members who have gone before us. There are surely wide open arms welcoming him to his final home now.

May God’s love, grace and mercy be with Mr. Stewart’s family. So many wonderful posts for a man that deserves all of them. He was a pillar of the fire department and the community. Now he has gone to be with his Heavenly Father where the soul never dies. Rejoicing with his loved ones who have gone before him and waiting for the ones he left behind.

I ran many a call with Mr. Robert when I was employed by both Atmore Ambulance and Escambia County EMS. You were a gift to the community and you will be greatly missed.
