I would much rather see this money spent on synchronizing the existing traffic lights, or changing the programming so that you don't get a "red" at an intersection of Hwy 29 and some small intersection when there is not even a car at the side street of the intersection. Not sure who decided all of these pedestrian intersection improvements was the best use of our money…the sidewalks which go nowhere are my personal favorites.

After living down Detroit, near Pine Forest for over 30 years, I would have thought that making that turn would have improved by now, especially with WalMart on Hwy. 29 and so many businesses on 9 Mile but it's still the same "take you chances" situation.
