For those of you that do not approve of the deceptive nature of the website, I ask
if you were attempting to marry off a homely daughter or a slow son, would you
present them in a positive or negative light?

The Alger Sullivan Sawmill Complex has me thinking of Ronnie Gilly’s nightclub.
There is enough sq ft to have bull riding, barrel racing you name it. In light of the
current outlook, there is not much that sounds too absurd for Century, shes got to try some new moves

I am not trying to be negative, but for $11,000 the site at least should have mention the lots and building that are for sale in the industrial park, the incumbater building. I thought the marketing of Century was the selling point that got approval for this site.

TO “RESIDENT” see people like you always judge before u know Ramar St. If there is any pharmaceutical on Ramar St you are probably the buyer because last time I checked that crap is not on this road. It was bad back in the times but now people on Ramar are more to they self. Get it right its the road the old club melody is on

The site looked pretty good to me.

I would have been a little dissappointed if they spent all of that money and took pictures of broken Jungle Gyms and the worst looking houses and reported that nothing was positive and Century was a just a run down town.

Some people can never be satisfied.

This is very concerning. I can only imagine how disappointed visitors would be if they came to our town under the false impression that it is as pictured on the website. We have no organic produce/bakery. The farming industry pictured does not exist in our town, either. If the town really wanted to create a useful website, they would have one that allowed online payments of utilities. This is a waste of money, and it is of no use to anyone.

Why do people have such a negative attitude about Century. There is problems in all town’s but you have to help each other work on it to make a difference. Go to the town meeting if you have a problem and voice your opinion. Don’t just sit back and complain. Take part in your town. Yes the Health & Hope Clinic just open in September of 2011 in Century, but the total of money is from the Century and the one on Chemstrand Rd. I am one of the volunteer’s. The Town of Century help with getting the building for the Clinic. What a blessing that was. It has help so many people from Century and the surrounding area’s and they always let us know how thankful they are to have the help they get from the clinic. . Again I say Great Job on the web sight for The Town of Century, Florida.I pray for the Mayor and Council members and for the town to grow and prosper. Just a small Town trying to make a difference.

“proximity to world-class education”?? Glad to see the town will quit complaining about the closure of Carver/Century and everyone has realized just how good of schools Bratt, Ernest Ward and Northview are.

“Century’s “Help & Hope Clinic” is supported entirely by volunteers and donors who have provided $8.5 million in health care services for the medically under-served since 2003.” — LIE, LIE, LIE!!! It just opened.

Where in Century is the “Local Organic Produce & Homemade Cakes” store pictured on the front and town of Century pages? Doesn’t exist in Century.

Where is the field with big orange and yellow tractor? Not in Century. And it’s not even a John Deere.

Where is are the two big grain bins? Not in Century. Walnut Hill maybe?

Where of are the pictures of the center of Century’s pharmaceutical trade on Pond and Ramar? It’s the biggest industry in town that hasn’t closed.

I just checked this website and they have a picture of a slide at showwalter saying it’s the jungle gym. When it’s only the slide. I guess they did that is because they are to cheap to fix the jungle gym to take a picture of the whole thing. 8 years ago they had a tire swing connected to the jungle gym but they fail to replace it. Century Mayor needs to fix Show Walter park like it should be. I bet whoever the park is named after would not approve of the condition of the park. A new sitting area was good but when u don’t fix the rest of the park it really don’t mean a thing.
