Congrats to all Byrneville Book Battlers and their teachers and principal for inspiring our students to be good readers. Thanks for your willingness to spend time outside of the classroom (all day on a Saturday) to compete!

Not only did the students complete the reading list, they were able to comprehend and recall what they had read–months later! The competition was a “brain bowl” type of event with students answering questions about the content of the books they had read. Excellent job, students!

WAY TO GO FOURTH GRADE!!!!! We have to give a shout out to the 3rd graders who stood in for three rounds and the fifth graders for their 2 rounds, they all did a great job!!!!!! Good sports too ,win or lose they were great!!!!!
