I know teachers too. Even the best are trapped in a system that is dysfunctional.
Give ALL kids vouchers and let them and the parents decide.
Other than that its all just hot air.

Justsmart, i agree with you on some issues these unions are ruinining the teachers my spouse is a teacher , Not all are bad, the easy way to do it is to test teachers and go to there rooms and watch em teach, some are horrible and I know some them and they are the ones complaining the most because if they know if they are exposed these things could be in the cards. Test the teachers they need the FCAT worse than students do

I wish the teachers and their unions would jump in a hole and cover up. They are so overpaid for the services the children get. Not only overpaid, but lazy as hell and selfish too.
