I agree with thatalabamagurl as my son fell victim to the same situation and is at a very young age himself. These Dr.’s are not all at fault as some of them need to listen a little more to their patients and also look at other means of pain relief. Get some of these people some physical therapy instead of cutting them off completely with just another type of pill and pay attention to the number of pills being prescribed before being told that pill is not working. My gosh, how many milligrams are needed in the pain medications before making a person darn near lifeless or uncaring everyday? Good Lord, some of these pills that are being prescribed are rediculous when the milligrams per pill are outrageously high, but prescribed as they need to be taken 3 times a day. Good grief, one alone will knock you out on some of these pills being prescribed. Instead of prescribing pills that are making people do some crazy things from these drugs, lets prescribe something to help ease their pain some during the day, but them still be able to function so they can get some physical therapy and then if necessary, prescribed a pill to help them sleep at night so their pain isn’t intolerable to the point it keeps them awake. This may not be the answer for everyone, but it may help some who aren’t really severely in pain as bad as they may think. Everyone needs to learn to deals with a little pain from day to day because they need to realize their families love them and want them to be with them, not in jail or 6 feet under. What would they have done years ago? Hang themselves? Come on, let’s straighten this world up people. Take a look around you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand people defending him, but what if this had been your wife,mother or daughter being robbed at gunpoint; how would you be responding then. Things could have been alot worse.The fine folks at Scotts go out of their way everyday to help people, they have probrably helped you but that does not give someone a right to come in and do that to innocent, caring and hard working people.There are no excuses good enough in this case; people need to start accepting responsibility for their behavior and quit blaming everyone else.He did the crime now he should do the time,hopefully a long time..

Doctors are not all living “the rich life” anymore. I know that many are leaving the profession. I know one personally that, weeping, told me he could not even afford the rent on a decent house. He told me that 5 of his co-workers were going to leave the profession soon. He was telling the truth. They did. If doctors do not have freedom to write prescriptions for pain killers, those truly in pain will suffer. It is getting harder for them all the time to treat those who are really in pain. People, especially adults, also have a responsibility here. We need to quit making excuses for ourselves and others. Circumstances are not all the same and people are all individuals. I am not judging this man. But, it is not right for people to always blame someone else instead of owning their own “stuff.” And, I continuously hear what I see as jealousy towards those that have money, even if they worked VERY hard for it. And, Doctors have spent much time, money and effort to become doctors. It was NOT handed to the most of them. Contentment with godliness is great gain.

So in essences your saying it’s ALL THE DOCTORS FAULT.
Wish I had so many excuses for every wrong thing I do, others to
blame, and someone to cheer me on.

Maybe this Man just had to many people enabling him by saying
it’s not his fault. Ya Think~ Sounds like the D.A. isn’t buying it,
and we will find out how 12 people feel about it soon enough.

Danny is a clear sign of what happens when wonderful people we call doctors push pills freely!!! This man comes from a wonderful family but fell victim to a work related injury years ago. The doctors treating him freely wrote prescription after prescription and the result of yrs of prescription drug abuse has ruined he and his families life forever. Just keep in mind before you sling the usual insults and turn your nose up like you are all high and mighty, that his family reads your comments!!!! Hopefully he will get the help needed and rid his body of the poisons that are ruining so many lives at the hands of doctors wanting to live the rich life!!!

Justice will finally be served and another thug will be off the streets, only bad thing about this is that we will continue to have to support this low life.I pray he gets what he deserves.
