Amen JP. If only we had leaders like Mr Gorbechev, of the former Soviet Union.
He saw that it was time to allow the country to diversify into smaller states, to
better serve the needs of their people. Are we any different?

As far as a free Republic, I hope to be buried in one, one day, after all is done.

Once more it comes down to us vs. them, black vs. white, democrat vs. republican. This was not what the framers had in mind. Of coarse, that was when we were all just Americans and divisions in the people were made political
therefore to be “politically correct”. Citizens no longer vote for what is right for all
Americans, they vote for “what’s in it for ME”. No wonder we are hopelessly in debt and our future, as a free Republic is in danger.

Why not allow the NAACP to present a map, which they find suitable, to the needs of their people, a district of their own?

Everyone deserves a place where they can flourish and be happy. It is only fair for
them, and of us.

I like how our senator, Greg Evers, and his buddy Gatez would have gone from an even numbered districts (2 and 4) to an odd numbered ones (1 and 3), which in effect would allow them to stay in office two years beyond the manditory term limit. Talk about “pursuit of partisan gain and incumbent self-interest,” I do believe that this is clear and direct evidence of it.
