I had the the greatest joy and respect in knowing Mrs Opal, she was a true friend to me and in all the years that I knew her she would always hug me whenever I saw her. I will truly miss the smile on her face and the beautiful quilt work she did. She had talent for the smallest stiches of anyone I knew. Each quilt was done with love for her family members. I have one on my bed that she helped to quild and I treasure It more each day. I know that she will be missed but not forgotten by many . Thank You for sharing your mother with me.

June, I’m sorry for your loss. I know that you do not recognize my name, however, every once in a while I think of people that I’ve known a long time ago and I try to find them on line. I do not know if your husband, Roger McCann, is the same
Roger that I knew from Hazel Park, Michigan or not. If so, maybe we can get in touch. I also know that the Lord puts people on my mind when I’m to be praying for them, so I will do that now. It doesn’t matter if we know each other or not. “Lord, I lift up this family to you for your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. I ask for your comfort and strength as they go through this difficult time together. I particularly pray for the one who is struggling the most with the death of their mother, grandmother, or grgrandmother. I thank you In His Name Amen.

dear tommy, sharon and june, i was so sorry to hear about your mom passing away. wish i had known about it sooner so i could have expressed my condolences in person. how very fortunate we all were to have had the mothers love we experienced in our lives. you are in my thoughts and prayers…….
