OK..IS SPICE ILLEGAL IN FL? If so why do they still sell it in Century? They need to ban and start busting stores around here! And if his girlfriend bought the book for him..why not leave it at home..why drive to a power plant at one in the am with it in your car? Come on now!

Just think, if he’d said, “Officer, I’m too stoned to know how fast I was going,” it wouldn’t've been worth reporting. He’d still be arrested, but this way he looks terroristic and/or foolish.

If he did work there previous then he would know that the hiring is not done directly at the plant. The applications go through the HR department at the corporate office. Sounds funny to me. Who looks for employment at 115am.

If he had said no to the search of the vehicle the drug dog would be on it’s way. If the dog alerted on the car that would have been the LEO’s PC to search or impound the vehicle and get a search warrant. The book very well could have been a joke. I hope LEO’s never search my home— I’ve got a number of books on a number of subjects that could cause someone to question me and the reason for them. They were from classes I put on once upon a time. Show up with a copy of “The Turner Diaries” or “The Anarchist Cook Book” in a court room and you’ll get to meet a lot of new people.
