I remember Miz Voncille of Canoe, she baked all our birthday cakes many years ago, nice family. I cannot remember exacty where her home was in Canoe. I am glad no one was hurt and also glad this loss, was not one of the historic homes.

I have live here all my life and the last 4 months this makes the second house that has been on fire. right across the street from each other.
I know that house has been their for 50 + years. I would like to think the Fire Departments that has been verry good on answering the calls. May God Bless each and every one of them. And the 911 for getting the information out to the right people.

Sad…… I wonder if the fire right across the road a few months back has any connection to this one. No one lived in this house and it has been vacant for the 8yrs I’ve lived here.
