I know you are hurt because your cousin is dead. However, he is dead of his own choosing because of the lifestyle he was living. If you engage in high risk behavior (drug use and sales), then you set yourself up for a situation like this. Don’t be angry with others for stating what is patently obvious to all of us. And, no, all of my relatives don’t have perfect records, BUT the one I am thinking of was arrested ONCE and changed her ways. Your cousin had this opportunity and failed to use it (more than once). Sorry for your loss, but I agree with Erica – when you play with fire you may end up burned.

I’m sorry for your loss, however Erica’s comment is relevant. Mr Ortiz was a thug who enjoyed the rewards of a living a life of crime. Unfortunately for him (and his family), he also suffered the consequences that accompany dealing in dope. He was a dangerous felon, and the streets are safer in his absence.

This young man happens to be my cousin, and while I can’t defend what I don’t know about, I know it’s idiotic of you to make an unnecessary comment, ESPECIALLY when it isn’t asked of you.
