I will continue to vote for “RICK SANTORUM” until the end, unless something can change my mind. Gingrich or Romney is NOT what we need at this point in the situation OBAMA has put AMERICA in…..just my thought! Then again all politicians will tell you what you want to hear, then do the opposite of what they said they would do. Look at what OBAMA has done……He sure has brought “CHANGE”, but not the change this country needed! I can’t help but to think their are many voters out there wish they NEVER voted OBAMA in now.

It’s pretty clear what happened here if you look at the map of Florida. Most of the panhandle “old South” counties voted for Gingrich, a fellow Southerner. Most of south Florida, which has lots of northern transplants, voted for Romney. Just goes to show that transplants outnumber natives in Florida.

I do think Romney was the right choice for the general election though. Gingrich would be able to win in the South, but he would never win in any of the northern states, and that’s what it will take to beat Obama.

It appears that even the registered republicans are confused by which of these canidates are best suited to lead this country.

Tends to make this Independent voter lean a little further left.

Thirty-four years ago, Newt Gingrich summed it up. In a speech to College Republicans—shortly before he would win his first election to Congress—the future speaker had a piece of fundamental advice for the young and impressionable GOPers: “I think one of the great problems we have in the Republican party is that we don’t encourage you to be nasty. We encourage you to be neat, obedient, and loyal, and faithful and all those Boy Scout words.”

seriously, most in the county went with Gingrich? I guess all that family values and ethics talk is only to be used against those we want to demonize and scapegoat in our society?
