True but it would also be true is you simply said: "we will have crime." Lack of economic growth does not cause crime as evidenced by the fact that crime happens even when there IS economic growth. Even if you have a job, the pay here is low so you need two jobs. As long as we have no econonomic growth we will have crime. And the sheriff is doing a good job catching a lot of these criminals.
