When I saw his passion for teaching baseball during a family day intrasquad game (other recruits saw a coach yelling) I knew this was for me. Being a kid who could have easily gone down the wrong path, he treated me like I mattered. After those 2 years I became lost again until I spoke to him on the phone and I got back on track. I am always indebted to him. I once said to him "you like me coach, don't you?" his reply "only when you're hitting". But the smile on his face told me what he really meant. However, they all highly respect him and think the world of him. When we see him in town he always makes a point to stop and talk with them. He builds them up each time he see's them. Coach Adams is not only an "Outstanding" Coach but a wonderful person that my boys and I admire and look up to with much respect and high regard. A well deserved honor for a "Good Man".
