I think the FFA is a positive enriching experience for students, even if they have no goals toward commercial agriculture. Sadly I outgrew that blue jacket. But the FFA officer team was not the ones on stage Saturday night...it was the group The Springs -- they were the focus of the article. The event was, by the way, was a project of the FFA Alumni with the current FFA students volunteering to help. The Alumni group then in turn uses the proceeds to help the current FFA members. It is National FFA week, and later this week you will see lots of FFA kids on NorthEscambia.com taking part in various events both at different schools. Photos begin Wednesday morning, I believe.
