I'm just wondering if these crossing signals have L.E.D.s in lieu of incandescent lights. Looks like one of the new signals has a mechanical bell, possibly a Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell (my guess, last time I checked Western Cullen Hayes was the only railroad crossing manufacturing company that still makes mechanical bells, I could be wrong) when normally new signals have electronic bells.

My opinion, I hope the signals and gates, which I'd also like to see, have L.E.D.s, and I hope the gate-lights are 4" L.E.D.s. I'm a rail-fan.

One is really needed on Nokomis Road and Meadows road so guess that won't happen this time and may never in my lifetime. It is really needed - especially on Nokomis - lot of traffic.

I am still looking for a crossing bar at the entrance to west Roberts road from highway 29. I talked to someone in the DOT about this years ago and was brushed off. I think it is needed even more today as the number of cars has in my unscientific opinion increased.
