Perhaps, but it looks appropriate in this case if it were applied. The worse thing is that I had thought he just ignorantly shot through an opaque door, not knowing he would kill a kid. I see from above that he shot through a window, so that means he could see his target.

Further, many crimes wouldn’t be committed if someone didn’t egg them on. Some criminals are cowards. (I don’t know how many criminals are brave, noble people.)

The main thing is that if you are involved in criminal activity that can reasonably be expected to lead to other criminal acts including murder, you have already agreed in principle to accept the murders if they happen — or you‘re too stupid to walk around loose. They look like bright gentlemen.
