Neighborhood Watch groups should not cost anyone anything except their time, and if they want certain things that everyone votes on, they can donate to purchase them. (like Neighborhood jackets or whatever). The Neighborhood watch groups are making a difference.

When you call 911, be prepared to tell them:
1. what you need, ie. medical, fire, police.
2. your location and name.
3. a description of the person/vehicle.
This will help get law enforcement faster and help them do their job.

mtgs are the 1st monday of the month at farm hill baptist church, for the record last night’s robber did not get in and there was no noise or commotion to notice, the deputies arrived in 2 minutes (no lights or sirens) and still didn’t catch him, keep your doors locked people

There are Neighborhood Watch Groups in the Village & in Farmhill. The problem is getting people active, they all want the crime to go away, but many wont even make more than one meeting , donate, or simply keep up to date with the current events going on.. For our community to change, EVERYONE has to become active.

So just a thought: If you know robbers have stashed loot in a given place, please consider placing motion activated cameras in a few points around the area.

Maybe you’ll get their pictures and be able to identify them.

Maybe they’ll get some cool motion activated cameras.

Either way, someone will be happy when it’s all over.

My Aunt lives in the Village and actually seen 2 guys rob a house in broad day-light and then stash the “goods” in the woods right in front of her house. The cops made it in time to recover ALOT of stolen items. Yet when night fell and the robbers came back to pick up the loot my Aunt couldn’t get the 911 personel to stop asking sooo many questions and get the police in route. Needless to say by the time the cops got there the guys were gone….Now there is this story about 2 stores in the Cantonment area being robbed. Cantonment doesn’t have a very high crime rate (atleast not in the past) It looks like it may be time to start Neighborhood Watch programs in the immidiate area!!

This is crazy to me. A robbery or three over night. New houses being broke into in the middle of the day. I know I couple that were robbed in broad daylight by someone going through trails leading from their yard to Robinson road off of muscogee. Next week the neighbors where hit the same way. More trails leading to more addresses on Robinson road off muscogee. This week one of the moms of the folks that got robbed last week got hit. (Three males in a blue dodge) Theres people going around the village robbing and trying to get people to open their doors by not talknig after they knock. They will be robbing me for practice as I have no fancy T.V’s, real jewerly, or game systems. But I do have a few bullets. What can be done to stop this non sense?!?
