I know times are hard for a lot of people. I also know that drugs makes people do stupid stuff, but out here in the country, we just have to stand our ground, look out for one another and if we start doing away with the thieves, after awhile they will know we mean business and hopefully stay away. We live in ‘God’s Country’, live and let live, but it’s time for us to protect what we’ve worked hard all these years to have. And it’s time for the thieves to do the same or do without. Just saying~

On April 26, 2005, Governor Jeb Bush SIGNED SB-436 “Castle Doctrine” into law.

The Florida “Castle Doctrine” law basically does three things:

One: It establishes, in law, the presumption that a criminal who forcibly enters or intrudes into your home is there to cause death or great bodily harm, therefore a person may use any manner of force, including deadly force, against that person.

Two: It removes the “duty to retreat” if you are attacked in any place you have a right to be.

Three: It provides that persons using force authorized by law shall not be prosecuted for using such force.

It also prohibits criminals and their families from suing victims for injuring or killing the criminals who have attacked them.

i work out of town and i have wife and two kids at the house. my choce security system is a 12 ga pump with 00 buck or bird shot, bet the thief wont know the differance if he choses the wrong house. thats if he makes it past my 2 american bulldogs. and want to say good job leos response time in the north end is improving greatly. gittem’ locked and loaded, protect your own.

well, since my german shepard has the risk of some maniac hurting her, time to take matters into my own hands, I did not own a gun but as of Fri I will and i WILL NOT be afraid to use it, I have children to protect and out here in Bratt it may take deputies 30 min or longer to get to your home depending on how far out you live, if they break into my home it will be DOA for someone. Dont take to well to having this kinda stress in this neighborhood and I work TO HARD to let some thief take what me and my husband work for. You are all right, TIME TO ARM YOUR HOME !

FYI…my gun is ready and I’m not afraid to use it, but I’ve read that a can of wasp and hornet spray does the trick if you don’t want to shoot someone. You can aim it in their eyes at a distance, it disables them because they become blind temporarily, you get away to get help and the law gets there to remove them from your property. They have to go to the ER to have them washed to be able to see again. Got my wasp spray and my ’snake gun’ handy! Don’t mess with Texas~

It’s time for home owners to arm themselves against these sorry theives; who
do not want to work. And have decided to break in and take what you have worked hard to get. If we start shooting these sorry theives who break in and kill a few of them ;we might get their attention that we are not taking it anymore. Looks like its time for old time justice.

For those of you that live in the area – I personally believe that you may want to consider arming yourselves and not depend solely on the Deputies. The time it may take for them to respond may be all the time that the perpetrator needs to commit some very heinous crimes against you and the ones that you love. I also consider that to be very irresponsible of you for not being prepared to defend yourselves. And, then, of course you would want to blame LEO. Just sayin’.
