And Jason, no, an unborn fetus doesn’t have any rights until it is born. That just makes no sense at all. Oh, and not everyone will be married, and not everyone believes you HAVE to be married before having a child.

I say, regardless of your beliefs, do you not think that EVERYONE should be responsible for his/her body?! And lets use this as an example, because this seems to be the argument more often than not: You say “no, you can’t have an abortion, regardless of the reason, you have to keep it and I’m voting on this to make it a law” That’s the exact same as someone telling you that you HAVE to have a child, and not just one, let’s make it three! You HAVE to have them, it’s the law! And if you don’t, you’ll be reported and have to face the consequences. In fact, until you have those three children, I’m going to stand in your yard with a sign. Make sense?! OF COURSE NOT! KEEP YOUR BELIEFS TO YOURSELF, IF YOU DON’T WANT ONE(ABORTION OR A CHILD)THEN DON’T GET ONE!
Ugh! People are SO very ignorant! And they just find it impossible to mind their own business and keep to themselves!

frictionagainstthemachine, that isn’t a very good argument. One could also say how many rapist, murderers, Jeffery Daumers, future death row inmates, and just general deadbeats may have been among those 79000 aborted fetuses. Not saying it’s right or wrong,
just sayin.

Sue there’s something more important to keep out of your body until you’re married. Once a child is in there, however, he or she has the human right not to be slaughtered.

If God gives you free will and choice then why should the Government be able to take it away. It should be an informed choice made by a woman based on her beliefs. Not one mandated by the Government.

All legislation is about morality. Someone decides something is for the public good, etc. It’s someone’s moral/immoral decision.

Way too bad they can’t care that much about the elderly in our society. They keep cutting back medicaid till the elderly will be forced into early death.

Imagine how many future doctors, scientists,future presidents and maybe even great athletes were among the 79000 fetus’ aborted.
Amazing that some of those lawmakers would come closer to protecting someone’s life on death row than protecting the unborn.
