Failing education? When the Hollywood tribe sells young people, on the faulty logic, of a dead end hip hop lifestyle and values, what do you expect in return? Maybe they can all get a reality tv show, and the silicon injections to go with it.

Isn’t it a joke that folks think seniors don’t pay? Those that think this should wake up and smell the roses. We pay and we pay. You’ll see when you reach those so called golden years. I dread it for those growing up now, because when they reach their senior years only the GOOD LORD knows what they’ll be paying. We pay because we worked hard when we were younger, and we pay because there are those who didn ‘t work or had excuses for not working and they ARE NOT paying. So know your facts before judging all senior!! When do we get to stop paying federal taxes? Never, because the government we have doesn’t work for the people, they’re only concerned for SELF!! If you disagree, just check out the insurance they have compared to what you have, check out their income. They don’t have to work for 30 years for a retirement, 2 to 4 year terms will do it for them, even if they aren’t reelected. Wouldn’t you enjoy working for a short time and receiving a retirement for the rest of your life, plus all the benefits they receive too!

Oh great, we are going to lose more jobs with the lack of hospital subsides. We also will now be opening more prison doors letting the armed robbers, sexual predators, scam artists out even earlier. Plus some of them will need jobs. Plus more crime with less cops to deal with with it.

FL Public Education is a joke. They need money, but first stop testing them to death with that No Child Left Behind Garbage. Use the extra classroom and money then to start getting better teachers to TEACH the students. Forget tenure. These teachers need to be tested to see how they rank on these tests every year.

I transferred her from the Northeast, and I basically sailed the remaining half of the year and the first 6 months of the next. I was bored. That is how bad our schools are.

FIGURE IT OUT PEOPLE.
Illegals don’t pay, seniors don’t pay , most govt employees pay a pittance.
This system is totally broken.

Spoken by an uneducated person. Paying for the care one receives is not a subsidy. Please name one job that is not necessary besides the Governors office.
So you will pick and choose which hospitals get paid, and you will get rid of state employees. You increase unemployment, from both hospitals and government. Wow, that along with Scott’’s cutting more business tax will make all those new jobs we need.

The education system in the U.S. is so far behind China and other countries….we need better education for our children or the U. S. will not profit later on. Some of the hospitals are making profits and don’t need subsidies from the government. Some jobs in government are just not neccessary and can be eliminated. Maybe some people don’t like it but maybe they are the government workers!
