I like how it seems to everyone that all the floats had people drinking on them.. Wrong …..Our float did not have people drinking on it . And neither did some of the floats behind ours. It is sad that there is so much stereo typing going on. Yes there were some outrageous floats but not all were like that. People are going to act Crazy no matter where you go to for a parade.

When you go to a redneck parade what do you expect? I have always wanted to go since I first herd of it and this was My first year and I loved it. If someone gets offended by( redneck) then you should have stayed at occupy wall street or something .

429SCJ : You honestly see no racist undertones in a strategically placed George Wallace endorsement surrounded by confederate flags? The only things I have ever been subjected to are education, morals, and the occasional observation of some sort of prideful racism that still exists in the south that is justified as “part of our heritage”. The late George Wallace may have been a decent man, but the George Wallace that represented the confederacy was a racist who sought only power and glory and who admitted to these convictions later in life. He may have done some good things as governor, but that is not what people remember him for and that is not why those kids on the LiVE float put it there.

Hello have some class, I see no shame in Gov Wallace, he was a great leader, who did what he thought was good for his people, just as many other great leaders have done, in the interest of their people. I do not know what kind of indoctrination you have been subjected to in your life, I just say each unto his own, nothing personal.

Hater I did not attend, I did not see what transpired. I had heard several individuals refer to the event as the Red Neck Parade, with no mention of Christmas. I just say if you are going to have a parade with adult themes, don’t advertise it as a family event, no matter what you call it. I personally would not endure a mob of thousands to see the Stones, much less a Red Neck Parade, nothing personal to the area rednecks. I own a 4×4, and a pair of catepillar boots, I just don’t party with large groups, in public. I hope next year, everybody gets what they expected, and that they go home happy.
