This is the exact reason that these men and women should be recognized as heros. They and all other uniformed men are way underpaid. They will face fire, explosives, terrorist, guns or what ever the case may be to protect us and our freedom. Why cant our government see that these people are under paid? The sad part of this, they would die protecting the very ones responsible for pay cuts or freezing raises. We need to take care law enforcement, fire fighters and our military. There were wreathes laid at the graves of 3000 soldiers this morning at Barrancas National Cemetary, that had died protecting our freedom or survived war and died of other causes. Pensacola Naval Air Station should have been turning cars away because too many showed up to pay respects. Only several hundred showed, but you cant find parking at a parade. Dont get me wrong, i love entertaining my children. It just seems some of us have our priorities messed up. My new years resolution is to make a good impact on others lives, that they will always remember. God Bless America

Prayers to the officer and family. Governor Scott makes officers pay into their retirement, taking income out of each check. The officers in this area are the lowest paid in the State of Florida. Send a message to Scott, stop your madness, pay the officers for putting their lives on the line. Stop taking money from them to pay for mistakes made by the Legislature and the Governor.
