I’ve always enjoyed the fact that even people “caught in the act” of committing crimes are merely “suspects” until a judge or jury decides.

I agree. However, there is a certain amount of respect and honor attributed to being a U.S. Marine. No lawless good-for-nuthin’ deserves to were such a uniform. Rather, I would suggest that this kid be sent through USMC boot camp as you suggested but let him remain a “recruit” for his four year term…send him to Afghanistan to be a grunt for the real Marines over there. No uniform. No honor. No respect. Just hard work to help out all the soldiers in harms way. That would probably do him a world of good – too bad it would be considered “cruel and unusual punishment.”

If this kid gets a break from the law (Judge) this time, PARENTS you
better wake up and get a HOLD on your loved one, because the
hand writing is on the wall for him if you don’t.

OUT OF HIM, YOU WOULD BE DOING HIS PARENTS A BIG FAVOR
AND THEY MAY BE ABLE TO STILL SAVE HIM ALSO.

PUNKS!!!! he mite know the other guys name but I bet he knows how to find him…Everytime I read something like this w/young men(KIDS) I realize how blessed I am that not 1 out of my 4 kids have ever gotten in trouble w/the law!!!! I know a lot of thier friends have mile long records already even by the age of 24…What are the parents doing???/
