I am pleased to know that Brickyard Road is finally going to be paved in early 2012 but why on earth would you stop at just the point of the planned paving project when it should continue a short distance north of there; i.e., at least the first railroad crossing? There are other property owners/families north of the Brickyard/Brickton intersection. Speed bumps are a good idea to cut down on speeders because they have been witnessed by neighbors (more than once or twice) who drive too fast and have crashed their vehicles near that intersection.

weel of course roads inc.will do it.why dont they let someone else get some county work?more roads around here need paving just as bad or worse.the county has no money but sure seems funny that the city gives there employees a 750.00 bonus,when the county employees gets nothing.not even a raise.county employees are the last to be thank for a job weel done.county taxes get more than city and they do care if they have a xmas bonus.shame on the county.they should wonder why county employees walk around with sad faces all the time.

This is great but when will the county start repaving the roads that have been repaired such as Schaag Road that was paved in 1984 and has pot holes and patches every where.Come on Kevin when will you do something you are running for re-election aren’t you.

Very excited that the road is gettin paved its been a long wait for the people leaving down it. After giving there right aways up almost ten years ago. Believe me just because its dirty now has never stop anyone from drag stripping down it. You should be on it when someone comes flying down it now. I think how to control that would to make sure there are speed bumps put in where the houses are.

Roads Inc hasn’t done enough to screw up the roads for them yet? Cheaper is not always better.

That’s exactly what we need, a back road drag strip for 1.6 million dollars. I’m sure there’s a 1/4 mile in that 1.6 miles that would be sufficient. Thanks EC!

Can you say election year? Sure you can, but it is a project that should’ve been completed long ago.
