As a former employer and stock hold of Winn-Dixie I hate to see the change. I was hoping that Winn-Dixie would emerge stronger from Bankrupty and get back to what they were before the Bankrupty. This is another victory for Big Wal-Mart.

I hope they keep selling Yesterday’s News litter! It is the best, and can be recycled into gardens, then the bag gets recycled! Total recycling!

Hopefully the new owners will lower Winn Dixie’s everyday prices so that they are more competitive with Wal Mart and the Grocery Advantage and have a chance to stay in business I love their meats and fresh produce but you have to catch anything you buy there on sale in order to justify buying it because their regular prices ae so high.

I have shopped at Bi Lo stores in other areas and have found them clean and well stocked. The WD stores had a rough time with cash flow for a while and have about pulled out of trouble. It may offer better prices. They also have a gas program with point for each dollar spent and last for a year— which is longer that Tom Thumb.

I hope it improves the store shopping experience at Winn Dixie– half the time, I never get home with all my purchases and the worst of it is, you don’t miss the items until you go to reach for them to use. Food World seems to be highter prices, more so then Winn Dixie. It will be interesting to see– not too many companies leaves things as they were after they own them; I’m sure some of the employees are worried. I would be…

Unless you’re reading something other than what I see, they aren’t going out of business, aren’t even closing any stores, just have new owners.

We knew it wouldn’t be long before Winn-Dixie went out of business. Over the years their produce and meat sections have been slowly going down hill But by the time they started to change it was to late.

I think what killed them was when they started those little black customer cards. You still payed the old price and raised the price on everything else. Making it look like you had a good deal.

There is to much competion out there and it cost them dearly.

It don’t matter what store u go to your going to find a thang er 2 every once and a while that is out of date. That’s everywhere….walmart, dollar stores, publics any place of business. The store changing owners won’t change that kind of honest mistakes although I’m not saying its not a big deal I’m just saying the out of date is going to happen some but the employees have to stay on top of thangs
