That’s terrible! But we can just be happy these criminals didn’t do anything to the couple! It’s really not safe nowadays. Even at the comforts of our own home, these crooks trespass. They come and steal from us right under our very nose.

1-Post a “No Solicitation” sign on your fence or front door.
2-Don’t ever open a door for anyone you don’t know or not expecting to visit you.
3-If they don’t leave, call law enforcement.

That should do it.

Someone called my mother claiming to be from Medicare, after a couple of minutes they started asking for bank information, I was standing nearby and took the phone and hung up. A few minutes later they called back saying someone from this number just hung up on me, I said, “yeah I did” and hung up on them again. The person had a foreign accent. They didn’t call back anymore, the point is never give out financial or personal information to anyone that calls you. Most legitimate agencies aren’t going to call you asking for information, ask for a number you can call and verify who you’re talking with.

I think physical violence, of a type that William would find inappropriate to print here, is suitable for these Scam Artist Jokers. We keep an eye on one another’s property around here. We are a nosey bunch to be sure, and it has its benefits.

There is a Mid County Neighborhood watch group that has been started here in Molino. Everyone is welcome to come! It is held the 4th Monday of every month at Aldersgate Church on Hwy. 29 at 6:30pm. We have learned a great deal about protecting ourselves and our homes from ESCO. Please come and then start your own Neighborhood watch group!!! This month it will be held on Nov. 28. The information we learned (and are still learning) might have helped this couple!!!

ALSO watch out for your elderly on what is being called a Granny Scam
people calling claiming they are calling on behalf of there grandchild who
is in financial trouble – DUI, Accident’s etc – and to prevent jail time they
need to Western Union cash to them –

once again always another country hit my granny for $6,500.00
