ALSO I LIKE THE FOOD STAMP PROGRAM BUT I THINK IF YOU RECEIVE THEM THAT SOMEONE SHOULD RANDOMLY CHECK ON THE KIDS, SEE IF THEY ARE HEALTHY. OR DO FOOD STAMPS LIKE THE WIC PROGRAM, ONLY LET THEM BUY WHAT IS ON THE VOUCHERS!!! SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE. THESE PEOPLE ARE SELLING THEIR FOOD STAMPS FOR MONEY TO SPEND ON DRUGS!!!! I read all of these comments and think really most people would look down on these children because their mom gets some kind of state aid. people also act like they care. This whole thing makes me so so sick we as people have forgot who we are or have been in the past as for people thinking these children never had a chance well they did its just that to many people rather turn their noise up or well look down on them and their mother. As for the legal it just goes to show we rather send pot smokers weed growers to prison for extreme time but only give child killers 15 years..

Instead of us using our energy posting on message boards, lets put that energy to actively working to help children in need. It can be a small something. I can’t be a guardian ad litem because I would bring ever child I advocated for, home with me….sign petitions to your lawmakers, write letters to the editor of your local newspaper, I have bought shoes or jackets for kids that I saw needed them, regardless of the parents status. I am vigilant re signs of abuse. I have bought treats for kids at the grocery checkout that obviously didn’t get many extras. I wanted them to know there were nice people in the world, people that cared about them. i also tell them that not all strangers can be trusted. It is little I do but, I try, however I can.

these poor children never stood a chance.

Wow! I wish I could have rescued these kids from such abuse! I have had custody of my ex friends daughter for six years because of abuse. I don’t get it! My daughter died at birth in june, I wouldn’t dare allow it to enter my mind to abuse her or my friends daughter that I am raising. This is awful.

The sad part is that this worthless woman more than likely was getting food stamps among other assistance…..and still did this to her children. Then to only get 15 years is ridiculous and injustice to the children.

I so agree with EVERETT 110%…..give her only jello for 15 years with no power and water….instead she will get 3 meals a day with power, water, and a place to lay her worthless head.

this is so sad i really hate seeing things like this in the news. it is very hard for me to have children medical wise but i am doing everything i can so i can be a mom and for young girls to keep having them and not having a care at all about what they do to their child it just makes me sick. i just want to cry everytime i see this i would love to just find women like that and say give me your child i will love the baby and care for the baby like a mother should and you would never have to worry about that baby again
