I was at this game friday night. They played very well and nearly tied the game up on one occasion. There aren’t alot of players on this team and most are 10th and 11th graders. The next two years will be a little different I hope.

Tate has also had one undeafeated season (not ‘80 state champs), but it was before there were playoffs for state championships.

Well Tate has only won 1 state championship in football. I still respect Coach Rigby and can only do what he is given. Our program has been down since the late 80s. Yes we have had some good years but never like the early 80 and before. I still love my school and sports program.

Tate continues to get steamrolled every week and it is a great disappointment for a program that won state championships in the past. But look on the bright side, there’s only two more games and Tate can end up with a perfect 0-10 record that can be used as a parting gift for the coach.
