When i would run into him somewhere he never shook my hand or just said "Hey Danny" he would always come to me and hug me. Joey and I spent many nights at the Ambulance Office talking anbou numerous things, but the one thing that was always discussed was his kids and Grandkids. Oh the love would shine like a new penny he loved each of his kids unconditional and no matter what mistakes they had made he was always there for them. I hope and pray Joey's kids see the life lessons he had tried to teach them and be the best at what ever they become in life or continue doing at the best they can. Joey was a unique person when it came to his community "He Loved Atmore" and had many visions that he shared with me, and the funny part was the things or visions were not for personal gain, but for the better of Atmore as a whole. Joey I know you are still with us, Brother I LOVE YOU! wish we could have had more time together, but apparently God needed a Good business person with a joyful personality, well he has you REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED AND LOVED.
